Madonna is probably the most ardent believer in Kabalah and, reportedly, one of the biggest spenders when it comes to it.

She and Britney have been on bad terms before, when the younger artist told the press that Madonna would play the part of the alcoholic mother in her not-so-great movie, 'Crossroads', without even consulting her beforehand. Brit, in her own unmistakable way, apologized to her by wearing T-shirts with her name. It all ended beautifully (as, no doubt, everyone remembers), with a steamy kiss on MTV.

Since then, Madonna spent long hours instructing Spears in Kabalah, who was soon seen wearing the red string bracelet, not including the expensive 12th century manuscript that the Pop Queen gave the Pop Princess as a wedding present. Now, it proves that it was just money down the drain...

Britney posted a comment on the Internet saying that 'I no longer study Kabalah, my baby is my religion' and Madonna was unfortunate enough to see it. She is no longer on speaking terms with Brit and rumor has it that she is even asking for the ancient scripture to be returned to her.

Madonna's representative made no comment regarding the 'break-up', but a source went to the tabloids and told them that, quote, 'she feels she has wasted time, money and precious gifts on Brit'. Could this really be the end? Or we'll be seeing Madonna in a few days wearing Britney T-shirts? Oh well, you never know with those two...
