On Sunday, Madonna the Queen performed on the main stage in front of about 100 000-person audience. Most of the people at the festival were gathered at her show, even though there were others going on in the same time. She entered the stage in her own original Madonna style - a huge glowing and glittering ball split right over the stage and the Diva came out of it. Her Trojan Ball released her in the beat of "Hung Up", the opening song of the performance. However, it was a short appearance, for there were only four more songs besides this one for the Coachella audience.
The half an hour show was absolutely at Madonna's level, just that… it may have been the wrong place for such an extraordinary, extravagant, glamming, glittering show. Or if not the wrong, definitely not the best.

Coachella was especially appreciated for its edgy, a bit more underground atmosphere. Big concerts of big names might be all right, as long as it does not take the festival into the mainstream.
