14 DAY TRIAL // What has been deemed the most unlikely relationship in showbiz, that between singer Madonna and relatively unknown young model Jesus Luz, might soon come to an end. Madonna is so controlling of Jesus’ every gesture that she has even banned him from using his cell phone, so that he may not be able to make contact with anyone but her, the latest reports in the media claim.
The 51-year-old singer took a fancy to Luz when they first met on a photo shoot for W magazine and has barely left his side ever since. Not only did Luz accompany Madonna to locations she traveled for business purposes to, but he even moved to New York to be with her, much against the best wishes of his family. Now, they are fighting over his right to use his phone to call his family and friends, word in the industry has it.
Madonna is very much against cell-phones, it has been said, except for when she needs them. When Jesus’ phone rang and he picked it up, the singer reportedly flew into a fit and instantly banned him from using it from then on. “And she just turned on him. She told him it was rude for him to take a phone call in front of her.” an unnamed source says for the Daily Mail.
Yet, it seems, Jesus may be young and Madonna controlling, but he is not afraid to deal with her, even in cases such as this one when she loses her temper, the same publication adds. “He stood up for himself and they had quite a heated argument. Madonna agreed to let him answer the mobile when she’s around, but only in emergencies.” However, “if her phone rings and she wants to take the call, she’ll do it. This is not a relationship of equals.” the spy continues by saying.
Apparently, Luz’s family also believes that it’s Madonna who is keeping him away from them, as they have said so in the past as well. “His family claims they always know when he’s with her because they can’t get him on the phone. And it’s true. He’ll see his phone ringing and he just has to let it go.” the spy further reveals for the Mail.
