After urging her fans to vote for Barack Obama, the “Black Muslim in the White House,” Madonna is again using her live shows as a vehicle for non-music related topics. This time, she’s enraged many by calling out the name of Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani girl shot by the Taliban.

The 14-year-old girl is now in critical condition after she’s been shot for blogging about the need for better education, something that Madonna too sees as absurd and downright outrageous.

“The 14-year-old Pakistani girl who was shot on a schoolbus for writing a blog about how important education was to her. The Taliban stopped her bus and shot her. Do you understand the sickness and absurdity of this?” she said during her M.D.N.A. Tour stop in LA, as ET reports.

However, it’s not the fact that Madonna used her music to send out an important message that’s bothered many, but the fact that she actually chose to accompany it by a completely inappropriate number of striptease, THR says.

“This song is for Malala,” she said, right before starting to remove garments and launch into a live rendition of her hit song “Human Nature.”

Because of the inappropriate dance number she did whilst delivering such an important message, Madonna is now (again) being accused of “shameless self promotion,” on Twitter especially.
