Upset by the way the media has made her look (that is, a poor and untalented actress), Madonna has sworn to never attempt making any more movies. Seemingly disturbed by the fact that everybody considers her not fit for the big screen, the singer blames the public for her cinematographic failure.
Madonna's latest movies were, in fact, so bad that they couldn't even be released in theaters because of the bad reaction they got from viewers during private test screenings.
'Body of Evidence' and 'Swept Away' (the latter directed by her husband, British director Guy Ritchie) were both considered to have been box-office flops because the media wanted them to fail utterly.
'I hate to admit it, but I've decided to give that up. How can any film survive if everyone's saying it's going to be a flop from the very day the project is even conceived? It's already dead in the water', the frustrated actress said in an interview during her 'Confessions' world tour.
Madonna will be, nevertheless, remembered for the amazing part she played in the historical drama 'Evita', as the only movie project of the performer that got any public appraisal at all. As for the rest of her movies, her fans must be probably thinking one thing: 'Thank God she came to her senses!'
