The development team at EA Sports is continuing to listen to the community playing Madden NFL 25 and announces that it plans to introduce a second major title update for the American football sim in the coming days.

The biggest changes, according to the official forums, include:

GENERAL UPDATES

- Improved stability in all game modes. - Fixed an issue with Gameface, which made eyes render gray.

GAMEPLAY

- Tuned in-game injuries which were occurring too frequently. - Tuned pull blocking in various scenarios on the offensive line. - Tuned down broken tackles when using the Truck Stick. - Fixed an issue with toss/sweep plays when game speed was set to Slow

MADDEN ULTIMATE TEAM

- Fixed an issue with Solo Challenges awarding players a win without finishing the game. - Fixed an issue where offline users that earned a Gold in a Skill Tutorial would not receive the content in Madden Ultimate Team.

PRESENTATION

- Reinstated touchdown celebrations in all online game modes. - Improved logic used to select GMC Never Say Never Moment of the Game.

Those who are playing the Connected Franchise mode will also get an improved draft and a number of problems have also been eliminated.

At the moment, EA Sports is not willing to offer an official launch date for the second title update of its franchise.

The studio is working in parallel to put the finishing touches on the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 versions of Madden NFL 25, which will be offered when the new consoles are launched.

They will use the new Ignite game engine and that means that gamers will get improved graphics quality, smarter teammates and opponents and more versions of the animations that happen when players collide.

Madden NFL is one of the most important franchises for Electronic Arts and the company needs to make sure that it delivers enough title updates to ensure that the community is happy before starting work on next year’s version.
