14 DAY TRIAL // The actual National Football League season might be done, but the team in charge of Madden NFL 15 at EA Sports is continuing to deliver a range of content for the simulation in order to keep fans engaged in the long-term and give them interesting ways to tweak their overall experience.
Gamers can now pick two new positional sets and hero position rewards.
The official announcement explains that gamers can "Bring together a mix of Gold, Team of the Week and Football Outsider Items and add an Elite Badge to receive one of the NFL's standouts at each position. Items such as Team of the Week and Football Outsiders are only available in Packs the first week of each Position Collections release. After that, they can only be found in the Auction House and Trade Block."
Fullback and middle linebacker for the Madden NFL 15 Ultimate Team are included this week and more content will come each new Monday.
Gamers can get:
- Bruce Miller from the San Francisco 49ers - who delivered a good performance in terms of yards;
- DeMario Davis from the New York Jets - with 116 tackles and 3.5 sacks.
Fans of Madden NFL 15 can also pick up a new set of Legends players for their game, with versions of Mean Joe Green and Dan Dierdorf available.
Madden NFL 15 has correctly predicted the result of the Super Bowl XLIX
Much of the recent interest in the American football sim from EA Sports has been driven by the fact that it has managed not only to predict the fact that the New England Patriots would win the Super Bowl and defeat the Seattle Seahawks but also to accurately show the end score and the general evolution of the game.
Because there are no new matches of the NFL being played at the moment, the developers cannot deliver updates for players based on their performance.
This means that there are more opportunities to acknowledge those who have performed well during the season and opportunities to introduce new challenges for gamers to overcome in order to get access to rare Ultimate Team content.
A new Madden NFL title will probably be officially announced in May of this year and it will be seen running during the E3 2015 event in June.
