Madden NFL 15 is less than one month away from its official launch date and the development team at EA Sports is aiming to deliver more details about the player ratings included in the game in the coming week, showing gamers how they can shape their team once the title is out.
The top rated strong safeties are in focus at the moment, with the most capable of them, according to the studio, being Kam Chancellor, from the Seattle Seahawks, who has an overall value of 93.
The official announcement explains that "Bam Bam Kam is a big hitting machine with 97 Hit Power and 85 Tackling. Rounding out the LOB with 84 Zone Coverage, Kam uses his 84 Speed and 88 Pursuit to get involved with stopping the run game."
Next up is Troy Polamalu from the Pittsburgh Steelers, who is also an 93, and EA Sports says that he has ratings of 88 Speed, 92 Agility, 91 Play Recognition and 85 Pursuit which give him a variety of options on the field, with added 84 Hit Power and 87 Spectacular Catch.
TJ Ward is another star in the upcoming Madden NFL 15, and the Denver Broncos player is rated at 91 overall, with the studio adding, "New to the Broncos, TJ Ward adds some hard-nosed football to the Denver secondary. With impressive 92 Hit Power, 88 Tackle and 86 Speed, Ward hits the hole and shuts down the opponent's run game. Despite his run stopping mentality, his Coverage and Pursuit ratings aren’t too shabby at 84 and 86 respectively."
Fourth in the strong safety ratings is Eric Berry from the Kansas City Chiefs, while fifth place is occupied by Reshad Jones from the Miami Doplhins with 89 overall.
Madden NFL 15 will introduce an improved set of features for the defensive gameplay of the American football series, and the development team says that gamers will be impressed with the realism level that the experience now delivers.
At the same time, players will be able to have better control over their squad, while at the same time enjoying an upgraded presentation modeled on television presentations.
EA Sports is also promising an improved Ultimate Team mode with more options to create a winning team.
Madden NFL 15 will be launched on the Xbox One from Microsoft, the PlayStation 4 from Sony and last-gen consoles on August 26 in the United States and three days later in Europe.
