14 DAY TRIAL // The developers at EA Sports continue their celebration of the coming Super Bowl XLIX game by adding a lot of content associated with the occasion to the Ultimate Team mode of Madden NFL 15, which will give fans of the sport plenty of ways to create their own special end-of-the-season moments.
There are new versions of players from both the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks in both Gold and Elite tiers.
Gamers can choose how they want to use them once they are acquired.
For the New England Patriots, the elites include: Julian Edelman, Jamie Collins and Chandler Jones.
The gold offense is made up of Shane Vereen, James Develin and Josh Kline, while on defense the Ultimate Team is getting Akeem Ayers, Brandon Browner, Sealver Siliga and Patrick Chung.
The Seattle Seahawks are getting Max Unger, Bobby Wagner and Byron Maxwell at the elite level.
The Gold offense integrates Garry Gilliam, Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse and James Carpenter, while the defense will rely on K.J. Wright, Jordan Hill and Jeremy Lane.
The Super Bowl is also adding to the Coin Up concept
EA Sports states, “Is there a 100+ yard rusher? That earns you 15,000 Coins. Will there be a blocked field goal or PAT? If so, 75,000 Coins are yours. Will the game end with a kneel down? If so, you'll score another 15,000 Coins. Coin Up Items are tradeable only, so pick up some likely scenarios and you could be MUT rich after the Super Bowl.”
Madden NFL 15 Ultimate Team is also getting access to more Legendary players.
The game is also being updated with Super Bowl sets and with Legends that include: John Elway, Otto Graham, Franco Harris, Isaac Bruce, Deion Branch, Tracy Porter, Darnell Dockett and James Harrison.
Earlier during the week, EA Sports revealed that a simulation created using Madden NFL 15 showed that the New England Patriots would manage to win Super Bowl XLIX by 28 to 24, with Tom Brady getting the Most Valuable Player award.
Gamers will learn on Sunday whether the game engine is right or if the real world can still create surprising moments.
