EA Sports has offered some new information linked to Madden NFL 11, the American football simulation set to arrive on August 10 this year for the Xbox 360, the PlayStation 3, the Nintendo Wii, the PS2, the PlayStation Portable and the iPhone from Apple. The development team at the EA Tiburon studio is working to change not just how the game plays on the field but also how the player takes on the entire experience through the audio component.

The main commentator for Madden NFL 11 will be Gus Johnson, his main duty being to talk about the play by play calls made on the field. He is well known for working with networks like CBS Sports, Showtime, Madison Square Garden Network, Big Ten Network and the Detroit Lions Television Network for such events as the NFL, NCAA college basketball and MMA broadcasts. He will be joined in the commentator booth by Cris Collinsworth, Emmy award winner, whose main duty is to offer game analysis.

The audio remake of Madden NFL 11 is not limited to the commentators. EA Sports is aiming to deliver all the stadium specific chants that each team has and all the fight songs that fans of the game will recognize from television broadcasts. Tracks like “Crazy Train” for kickoff, “Rock and Roll Part Two” for touchdowns and “Thunderstruck” for defensive engagements are confirmed as being included in Madden NFL 11.

The developers are claiming Madden NFL 11 will make is simpler to enjoy the experience offered by football, with simpler ways to call plays and direct the teams and with quicker gameplay overall. The title will also aim to offer a deeper level of gameplay with a remade kicking engine and with a new system created to show off the abilities of quarterbacks.
