14 DAY TRIAL // Developer EA Sports has announced a new Ratings Reveal campaign linked to its upcoming Madden NFL 13 American football simulation, allowing players to vote on the players that they believe are the best in their category.
Those players who come ahead in the popular vote will be the highest rated in that attribute when the game is launched.
This week, gamers will be able to vote on the quarterback attributes for players in Madden NFL 13 including: Speed, Throw Power, Throw Accuracy, Awareness.
Next week, the players targeted are the running backs and the attributes that are in play include: Speed, Acceleration, Trucking, Elusiveness.
Between August 13 and August 17, fans of the series will deal with wide receivers and Speed, Spectacular Catch, Route Running and Agility.
Finally, between August 20 and August 24, players of the Madden NFL 13 are invited to weigh in on defensive players with the categories set to include: Speed, Hit Power, Tackling, Man Coverage.
Those who will be voting for the Release Promotion for Madden NFL 13 will also get a special card for the Ultimate Team game mode and players are encouraged to collect them all in order to create a set that will then unlock an Ultimate Team reward.
EA Sports has also recruited Marshall Faulk, who is a NFL Hall of Fame player, in order to host weekly videos that will offer a rundown of the most voted on ten players for each position.
The new game in the long running series includes more Playbook options, better player interaction and smarter opponents.
Madden NFL 13 is prepared for an August 28 launch on the PlayStation 3, the Xbox 360 and the Nintendo Wii, with versions also prepared for handhelds and for smartphones.
When the Nintendo Wii U home console is finally launched it will also allow buyers to play Madden NFL 13.
