Madagascar strikes the box office in it's second weekend

Computer-animated family movie "Madagascar", stroke the box office in it's second weekend with $28.7 million, overcoming "The Cinderella man", who debuted on the fourth place with $18.6 million.

At No. 2 was Adam Sandler's football remake "The Longest Yard," which took in $26.1 million in its second weekend. The third place was taken by "Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith," which grossed $26 million in its third weekend, according to studio estimates Sunday

"It feels like the movie business is in a malaise," says Stacey Snider, chairman of Universal Pictures, which released Cinderella Man. "It's something we're all talking about."
