14 DAY TRIAL // Video game publisher Warner Bros. is registering three new trademarks linked to a Mad Max-themed title, called MadMaxGame, MadMaxTheGame and WorldGoneMadLegendOfMax .
Superannuation reports that the registrations are all linked to the project that Avalanche Studios is currently said to be working on.
Warner Bros. currently holds the distribution rights to the entire franchise and it is also involved with the reboot of the series that will be launched during 2014, starring both Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron.
A video game companion for the movie has not yet been confirmed, but rumors suggest that it might be launched exclusively on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox 720 from Microsoft.
In 2010 and 2012, Cory Barlog, who had previously been the leader of development on God of War, was involved with the Mad Max video game, but he has since then moved to Crystal Dynamics.
