Longtime maker of PC peripherals Mad Catz has launched its latest gaming product, one that places gamers at “the heart of the experience.”

Since something about overly intricate and colorful hardware seems to draw gamers out, Mad Catz made the S.T.R.I.K.E.5 Professional Gaming Keyboard intricate indeed.

Made of several pieces, or modules, it can be customized according to buyers' shape and size preferences.

We are counting five different modules, of which only one is actually mandatory, so to speak. Even the section with the numpad can be taken off.

The E.Y.E. OLED Command Module gets a special mention here, for its ability to rearrange the configuration of the modules according to method of play.

We will let buyers figure out all the combinations and functions though, assuming they have the necessary $199 (US) or $219.99 (Canada). None is available in Europe yet.
