The TRITTON AX 720 Headset must have sold really well or not well enough. Either one could have been a good reason for Mad Catz to upgrade it, which it did.
The company is marketing the revised headphone set as TRITTON 720+ 7.1 Surround Headset.
The product has new 50mm Neodymium drivers, the latest Dolby Headphone technology (2.0 stereo and 5.1 surround scaling to 7.1 audio) and Selectable Voice Monitoring (SVM).
That last feature lets gamers hear their own voice through the headset, when speaking into the microphone.
