The Mad Catz R.A.T. Mouse has been around for months, like so many others, but it has been successful enough to warrant a special edition.

Said special edition is the Mad Catz peripheral is called R.A.T. TE, short for Tournament Edition.

For one, it is lighter, in order to reduce inertia and, thus, helping you avoid overreaching when adjusting your aim in a shooter or real-time strategy.

Another asset is the host of customizable attributes, like the “Lift-Off” height calibration and dynamic surface detection.

Programmable button mapping is another thing, and Mad Catz even changed the sensor, installing the new Phillips Doppler-laser, whose top sensitivity is of 8,200 DPI.

Sadly, we were unable to uncover the price of the all-blue Mad Catz R.A.T. TE gaming peripheral. Probably because it might take a bit for sales to start.
