It's somewhat of a habit for Mad Catz to release all sorts of gaming peripherals and accessories in conjunction with the release of a major gaming title, and that's pretty much exactly what they're going to do now with the BrawlStick and BrawlPad controllers, designed specifically for the WWE All Stars videogame. The BrawlStick, available in both Xbox 360 and PS3 versions, offers dual-speed Turbo functionality for each button, complete with LED indicators, while the eight-button arcade configuration will enable a higher level of precision.

Plus, the integrated D-Pad switch will enable gamers to use the D-Pad and Analog Sticks alternatively, while the Start and Select/Back Buttons are located on the rear side in order to minimize the risk of accidental interruptions.

The BrawlPad, on the other hand, will feature an ergonomic design with an enlarged circular eight-way floating D-Pad and arcade style six-button configuration, and will also sport an integrated D-Pad switch.

Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz, said that “We believe the fast-paced, arcade style gameplay found in WWE All Stars will be further enhanced when experienced with our range of impressive controllers.”

“THQ has worked tirelessly to deliver to the WWE Universe a unique experience, and we are excited to be working alongside the company to produce products we believe further demonstrate our strategy of combining world-class licenses with marketleading accessories,” the company's CEO added.

The new Mad Catz Arcade BrawlPad and BrawlStick, both of which feature official artwork from the game, that true WWE fans will find to be particularly enticing, are expected to arrive in stores around the same time as the game, namely March 29, 2011 in North America and April 1, 2011 throughout Europe, pricing being set at around $39.99 for the BrawlPad and $79.99 for the BrawlStick, respectively.
