“Thrift Shop” was number 1 in online searches in both the US and the UK

Bing has released the top 10 most searched songs and musicians for various territories for the year that’s almost over. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, with their infectiously fun “Thrift Shop,” sit proudly at number 1 both in the US and the UK.

In the US, Robin Thicke lands in at number 2 with his “Blurred Lines,” followed by Rihanna’s “Stay,” Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive,” and Jason Derulo’s “The Other Side.”

The top 10 is rounded by Bruno Mars with “When I Was Your Man,” Justin Timberlake “Mirrors,” Miley Cyrus “Can’t Stop,” Pink “Just Give Me a Reason,” and One Direction with “Best Song Ever.”

The first two positions are the same for the UK, with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, and Robin Thicke. The rest of the top 10 is comprised as follows: Florida Georgia Line “Cruise,” Daft Punk “Get Lucky,” Avicii “Wake Me Up,” Justin Timberlake “Mirrors,” Katy Perry “Roar,” Rihanna “Stay,” Miley Cyrus “We Can’t Stop,” and Labrinth and Emeli Sandé “Beneath Your Beautiful.”
