14 DAY TRIAL // Just a few hours ago, the Michael Jackson drama opened another chapter, with several so-called close sources telling the media that Blanket’s real father was actor Macaulay Culkin, Michael’s friend from the days of yore. Jackson reportedly loved Culkin so much that creating a mini-version of him was the only way he could think of to keep him close, The Sun writes. The actor’s rep, though, is adamant such allegations are preposterous.
The Sun spoke to several sources well familiar with the Jackson case and especially with the fact that the three children (Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket) were not his. Rumors on the paternity of the first two still circulate, while, for the younger Jackson kid, they seem to have settled on Macaulay Culkin. He was extremely close to Michael when he was younger, which made the singer literally idolize him. Naturally, when he grew up, Jackson asked the actor for a little help to perfect his “ideal family.”
“It is well known Jackson and Macaulay shared a unique bond. Now rumors are spreading like wildfire that Macaulay, who Jackson nicknamed Mack, is actually Blanket’s biological dad.” an unnamed source who claims to be very reliable tells the British tab. The former child-star is also aware of the situation, the same tipster insists. “This isn’t just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he’s Blanket’s father.” the insider reveals.
Taking into account all the theories that have, at one point or another, been in circulation as regards Michael Jackson’s children, this one where Culkin fathered one of the babies is perhaps the most absurd, even the spy concedes. However, given that Michael was anything but a man for whom ordinary was the word of the day, it’s not a theory that should be excluded, no matter how much the actor’s rep denies it, they say.
“So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet. But Jackson and Culkin were best friends. He was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down. Deep down, I think he always wished Mack was his son. Creating Blanket was the next best thing.” the source says. Culkin’s publicist has only to say that, “The inquiries are too preposterous for us to even acknowledge.”
