Macvide has updated its
3gp Converter for Mac OS X. Currently at version 1.7, the mobile-video conversion utility only got some performance tweaks and bug fixes, but the update is recommended to all Macvide 3gp Converter users.
Designed exclusively for Mac OS X, Macvide 3gp Converter lets you (what else) convert other video formats to 3GPP (.3gp) or 3GPP2 (.3g2). Supported formats (which Macvide's solution can turn into 3gp) include AVI, WMV, MOV,
MPG, MP4, and ASF. But it doesn't just convert your videos and slaps them onto your desktop. Macvide 3gp Converter also lets you crop both video and audio, tweak video sample rate and video resolution, select the duration time of your video from the first frame to the last frame by using "rangebar" and video preview, and more.
“With Macvide 3gp Converter you can easily convert any favorite video to .3gp, to enjoy 3gp music videos and take them with you wherever you go,” the company proudly states. “Macvide 3gp Converter has very handy, intuitive and user-friendly interface. You’ll be pleased with its simplicity and effectiveness!”
Main features of Macvide's 3gp Converter for Mac OS X include: convert AVI, WMV, MPEG video to 3gp; time line with ZOOM feature; crop video area to remove the black video sides; easy to use interface.
