A hacker that uses the online moniker SeCuR!TY DR@G0N has hacked MacTalk (mactalk.com.au), Australia’s main Apple community. The website has been defaced to display a pro-Syria message.

MacTalk is aware of the breach and the community’s representatives say they’re working on addressing the issue.

“We know there’s an issue with the mobile and desktop versions of the site at the moment. We’re working on this as our top priority,” they stated on Twitter.

They’ve reverted the website to an earlier backup, but it wasn’t early enough, so at the time of writing, the site still displays the message published by the hackers.

“I hack this site to convert a message from Syria to the world. We don't attack any one, we just defend on our country and ourselves,” the hacker wrote in both English and Arabic.

“In response to your government's support of terrorist cells, Located in several cities in Syria, kidnap and kill Syrians, and implement the most heinous massacres, Sush as the Hula massacre with killed 108 people, include 50 children, mostly under the age of ten,” he added.

“We hack this site as a clear message that we send by the name of the great Syrian people to the Government of your country. Stop killing the Syrians because history will not forgive and will never forget. We are all with our leader Bahsar Al-Asaad.”

SeCuR!TY DR@G0N is a member of a hacker group called the SeCuR!TY L!0NS H4CK3RS. The pro-Syria group has been around for quite some time, hacking and defacing random websites from all over the world to spread their message.

The collective was referenced a few days ago when experts warned that the Syrian Electronic Army was not the only pro-Syria hacker group that organizations should be concerned about.
