The software contained on the flash cracks your Apple Keychain

Don't be baffled if someone inserts a flash drive in your computer and extracts your most sensitive data. It can happen! Here's a device that can affect you (if you're a newb criminal that is).

The MacLockPick, as the name probably suggests, only works with Mac OS X 10.3 and higher. The software contained by the flash will crack your Apple Keychain, extracting your most sensitive information and your system setting. That's a good reason for you to stop using Firefox's password manager.

SubRosaSoft's MacLockPick will grab stuff like iChat passwords, iTunes store info, login details for websites, e-mail accounts, instant messaging buddy lists and much more. Anyway, don't get too excite!. You'll never get to check out what you're boss is "cooking". This is only available for the inevitably curious law enforcement professionals who want to perform live forensics on Mac OS X systems.

Once executed, a database of the suspect's info is compiled on the Flash Drive to allow for easy transportation away from the suspect's systems. This database can be then accessed by the included log readers on computers running on Microsoft Windows, Linux, or Apple Mac OS X computers.

Buyers will be required to show their federal or state law enforcement badge. Well, a licensed investigator's badge should also work. So, this means it's already in the wrongs hands. Great! Anyway, since it's just a software suite on a USB flash drive, it's pretty probable that you can copy it over to another drive. The MacLockPick is available for (cough) a cent short of $500.

We are just a few, but there are many of you, Softpedia users, out there. That's why we thought it would be a good idea to create an email address for you to help us a little in finding gadgets we missed. Interesting links are bound to be posted with recognition going mainly to those who submit. The address is .
