Apple has issued a press release just yesterday evening, confirming that the MacBook Air has started to ship. The day before, Apple indirectly hinted at the arrival of the slim laptop, announcing that the company was
taking orders for additional hardware for use with Air. The add-ons include a slim external optical drive, an Ethernet adapter, a Video connector and range of specifically-designed bags for the unconventional notebook.
