MacService, as its name implies, deals with repairing but also upgrading your Mac. Their services span everything from the iBook to the MacBook Air and even PC lately. MacService has just announced this MacBook Air 24-hour screen replacement program. The mail-in repair program will have you forking out for US$445. Prices include shipping container, installation and roundtrip shipping, so if you have a cracked screen or dead pixels (although I doubt anyone is willing to pay that much cash for dots that are out of commission), give the guys a buzz.

Here's how it works: you, the unhappy MacBook Air owner, whose dog happened to take a bite at the laptop's glossy 13-inch backlit LCD screen, make the request; MacService then sends you this solid custom laptop shipping container, in which you're supposed to place the Air and send it back to them; you do that; upon receiving your busted Air, experts evaluate the problem, replace your broken screen with a new one and then run some tests. If everything turns out to be A ok, and we reckon it generally does since they're so confident with that 24-hour timeframe, you'll be getting your repaired MacBook Air in no time.

"Outstanding customer service and top quality repairs. That's what MacService is known for and what we continually deliver to our customers. Our goal is to deliver quality service while making the process fast and easy for our customers," MacService states on its about-us page. "MacService certified technicians are the best in the industry and know your Mac inside and out. All repairs, upgrades and diagnostics are performed in a clean, organized and professional atmosphere. Our service advisors are knowledgeable, friendly and available to answer any questions you may have before, during and after the repair process."

Based out of Santa Clara, California, MacService delivers complete repair and upgrade services for Apple Mac laptop computers and, most recently, PCs too. On top of all, as some of you may have already hinted, MacService recycles all computer waste.
