Apple not only updated GarageBand for iOS yesterday, the company also rolled out version 6.0.5 for Mac (desktop) users with general compatibility fixes and stability tweaks.

“This update supports general compatibility and addresses overall stability and performance,” reads a support document that lists the changes in GarageBand 6.0.5.

The update delivers better compatibility with GarageBand for iOS projects, fixes a playback issue with the GarageBand Lesson preview videos, and corrects issues with some software instruments triggering incorrect or stuck notes, according to Cupertino.

GarageBand 6.0.5 requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard) and weighs in at 47.61 MB. It’s a free update for all iLife users.
