With “Bridge for Mac” 2.0 users will be able to update their smartphones

Mac users will be happy to know that Sony Ericsson plans to update its sync software for Mac OS X with updating capabilities for Xperia smartphones.

 

The handset maker has just confirmed on its official blog site that the future release of ‘Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac’ will introduce software update functionality for Xperia smartphones.

 

Currently, “Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac” 1.2 is available for download but it does not feature this capability. Instead, Mac users can manage their multimedia content from their computers, as well transfer music, movies, Podcasts and TV Shows between the two devices.

 

Photos can also be transferred from the phone via iTunes/iPhoto in order to free up some space on the Xperia smartphone.

 

It is recommended to download the latest version of “Sony Ericsson Bridge for Mac,” as the application will keep Mac users automatically notified of future releases.
