14 DAY TRIAL // iPresentee has announced the Free Christmas Gift bundle. Aimed at users of Apple’s iWeb, Keynote, Pages and Mail software, the Christmas Gift package includes the iWeb Theme with flash and static background, Keynote Motion Themes, the Keynote Theme, Keynote 3D Stuff, iWeb animation and Mail Stationery.
iPresentee is a group of professional and enthusiastic IT designers whose goal is to create high-quality, easy-to-use and fun add-ons for Apple's iWork and iLife applications. iPresentee has been building up an impressive portfolio of objects and templates for Mac users since 2007.
Speaking of the free Christmas bundle, iPresentee claims, “All add-ons are ready to inspire christmas [sic] spirit into frequently used Mac applications. Christmas Gift bundle is probably the best Christmas design solution for the favorite Apple's software.”
The user downloads a .zip archive, which spits out a .dmg file upon extraction. Once mounted, the disk image reveals its contents (screenshot above). Each of the nicely crafted, blue folders contains an installer package whose own contents include what the folder’s name said. One gets a free Christmas template, a Snow theme, a Christmas Tree theme, a Christmas decoration theme, an actual Christmas tree under Keynote 3D Stuff, a Deer under Animations, and, of course, Christmas-themed mail stationary templates (12 of them, to be precise).
The installer packages are also accompanied by important read-me files that tell you how to install and handle the items, as well as how to use them appropriately. For example, iPresentee explains that you must click on the installer package to install Christmas Mail Stationery and follow the instructions during the installation. “You need to restart Mail application after the installer finished update process to start using new Christmas Mail Stationery.” The company then proceeds with offering instructions to compose messages using the templates.
