Mac Pro Again Delayed, Now Ships in April

Apple continues to face dwindling Mac Pro stock months after launch

It’s been quite a while since Apple launched its Mac Pro (Late 2013) workstations, but the company simply can’t ship these in a timely fashion.

Assembled in the USA, Apple’s new Mac Pro is either a rare thing to come by, or the company is facing unprecedented demand. Had it been the latter, we’d probably see a press release stating that fact. So we’re left assuming there are some manufacturing issues at heart.

Apple currently lists an April shipping date for US customers, a one-month increase in the delivery status for its trash-can-shaped workstation.

The April shipping date applies to both the quad-core and the six-core models. Customers in the US can own the entry-level model for $2,999, while European buyers will shell out €2,999 for the machine.
