In view of the fact that two Mac OS X major upgrades have been issued while Longhorn (Ooops, Vista) was being developed, one can wonder who is trying to catch up with who? BTW Apple had already seeded Leopard in 2006 and the final release was delayed for... you guessed it : Vista compatibility. Now that Leopard has been released, the average joe (of which I am) can see which one has the lead. And it leaves Vista in the dust. Wow!
What? You're saying it's about market share not features? Then the title has no bearing! "Wow, crumbs"? Would you care to look at the number of Vista buyers that have since gone back to XP? Or the (ill-advised) Mac users like me who have bought Vista as a side-kick to Tiger, "just-in-case-we-would-need-some-odd-pc-program" and have since shelved the piece-of-....? Vista's wow factor certainly crumbled since you wrote this article |
