Seed notes suggest that a release is close

This weekend, Apple has seeded its developer community with a new beta build of Mac OS X 10.5.7, requesting those in charge with testing the software to focus on Flash Player, flash and USB drives, MobileMe syncing and many other areas. The build contains improvements to Mail and the speech dictionary, as well as several other fixes, bringing the total number of fixed issues to over 90.

As usual, World of Apple has been quick to provide the seed notes for the latest Leopard test build, mentioning that only one known issue remains to be fixed – compatibility with the Safari 4 Beta. It should be noted that Mac OS X 10.5.7 has been plagued by this issue spanning three separate builds. Without further ado, the seed notes for Mac OS X 10.5.7 Build 9J34 can be found below.

With a single (known) issue holding up the arrival of OS X 10.5.7, we could expect Apple to release the latest update to Leopard publicly as soon as next week.
