Developers asked to focus on 20 areas of Leopard, including Mail, Time Machine and MobileMe syncing

Earlier this week, Apple was rumored to have seeded its developer community with a new build of OS X Leopard. Beta build 9J22 was soon confirmed, with several sources pointing out to the twenty focus areas and seventy areas of change. Now, courtesy of World of Apple, the full seed notes for Mac OS X 10.5.7 Build 9J22 are here.

According to the listings, many of the areas in need of change include graphics drivers, Time Machine, printing services, iCal, AirPort services, screen sharing services, and MobileMe syncing. A couple of known issues are also mentioned – a normal listing for early test builds. As noted above, resolved issues, along with tweaks and improvements making their way into the new OS X version count 70. Apple launched Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard in late October of 2007. Since then, Apple has updated the software six times, throwing in enhancements, bug and security fixes, as well as occasional UI changes. The last update to Leopard was Mac OS X 10.5.6. Arriving on December 15, the release included security improvements, as well as fresh additions, such as a new Trackpad System Preference pane for portable Macs, and more.
