Cupidtino, the first ever “Mac-inspired” dating site, has gone live. Currently in beta, Cupidtino’s goal is “to bring Apple fans and lovers of beautiful hardware and software design together.” The service was announced in early May and is now available to the general population… that owns Apple products.

“Cupidtino is a beautiful new dating site created for fans of Apple products by fans of Apple products,” the folks who created the newborn service say.

“Why? Diehard Mac & Apple fans often have a lot in common - personalities, creative professions, a similar sense of style and aesthetics, taste, and a love for technology. We believe these are enough fundamental reasons for two people to meet and fall in love, and so we created the first Mac-inspired dating site to help you find other Machearts around you,” the three geeks behind Cupidtino say. Check it out here.

Cupidtino is free during the current beta, but it won't remain 100% free forever, its makers have confirmed. “Being Apple fans, we like to do things differently,” they claim.

“We have an innovative pricing scheme that has never been tried before by any online dating site. It will be inexpensive (priced within the range of iPhone/iPad apps), totally flexible and fair. More importantly, you'll never feel like an idiot for paying $25 just to contact one interesting person who never responded (we've been there – and we won't let that happen),” Cupidtino’s creators say. “In the mean time, enjoy the free access and don't freak out about Cupidtino not being free. It will be so much fun and such great value that you'll probably want to pay us more than we'll charge!” they add.

Pricing details will be announced once the service is out of beta, which is estimated to happen in the next couple of weeks. An iPhone app is being prepped as well. Interested parties can sign up for a Cupidtino account in under a minute and begin their quest to find a match immediately.
