MXI Security has once again drawn upon its expertise in manufacturing flash-based storage solutions and has brought for a number of secure USB flash drives, the Stealth M-Series and Stealth MXP Bio, which have hardware encryption and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification.

Flash drive popularity has definitely been keeping strong lately, especially with the rapid adoption of the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface standard, but companies seem to have become quite adept when making professional-grade and/or secure solutions as well.

MSI Security only just announced that it has completed developments of the latest Stealth Series of such solutions, each equipped with a significant level of both physical and virtual protection.

The company unveiled two new lines of such storage solutions, both of which come with on-board AES 256-bit hardware encryption and FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certification.

The main element that enabled the high level of data protection is the Bluefly security processor, which shields against malware and still allows users to collaborate using on-device data without compromising the safety of the stored files.

Needless to say, MSI did not shy away from implementing a waterproof and dustproof construction, as well as such features as key generation, digital signatures and device recycling.

As for actual specifications, the drives have a storage capacity of up to 64GB and communicate with host PCs via the USB 2.0 interface, which allows for transfers of up to 480 Mbps. What's more, the Stealth MXP Bio, as its name implies, comes with biometric security.

Now that MXI Security has already set up the product pages of its new inventions on its official website, consumers can get full information on the Stealth M-Series here and the Stealth MXP Bio here.

“Mobility has become a norm throughout the entire organizational workforce and it has lead to increased demands for higher capacity USB-based flash drives to securely carry various types of data,” said Julian Reusing, MXI Security’s President, North America.
