Chinese company Lenovo has just announced the upcoming availability of three new Android smartphones: S860, S850 and S660.

All three smartphones will ship with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which is a bit disappointing.

The better-featured of the three, Lenovo S860 comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

The smartphone boasts a large 5.3-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It also packs an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Lenovo S860 offers dual-SIM support, along with a high-capacity 4000 mAh battery that should provide up to 40 days of standby time. The S860 will go on sale for $350 (€255) outright.

Next in line, the S850 comes equipped with the same 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, but only 1GB of RAM. Furthermore, it packs 16GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).

It also provides dual-SIM support and much better 13-megapixel main photo snapper, along with a VGA front-facing camera.

Last but not least, Lenovo S850 is made entirely from glass and sports a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports HD (720p) resolution. It will be available in white and pink for only $270 (€195) off contract.

Lenovo S660 features a slightly smaller 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution. It also comes packed with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory.

The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front-facing camera for video calls, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB) and a 3000 mAh battery. The S660 will be available for purchase for only $230 (€165)

“The new S860, S850 and S660 smartphones perfectly complement the full range of mobile devices available to consumers around the world, letting consumers easily pick the Lenovo smartphone that’s right for them.

Customers told us they wanted longer battery life without sacrificing performance, so we built these new smartphones for all-day usage, blazing fast processing speeds, and a great user experience,” said Liu Jun, executive vice president, mobile business group, Lenovo.
