On top of launching two new tablets in Barcelona, Huawei has also unveiled a world premiere. The manufacturer introduces the first LTE Cat6-enabled Mobile Wi-Fi, dubbed Huawei E5786.

The device is said to be capable of offering the fastest Internet connections in the world, up to 300 Mbps. Hence, users will be able to download an HD movie in less than 30 seconds or can upload a video on YouTube in just 5-6 seconds.

Huawei E5786 is the first mobile Wi-Fi to support Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2x2 MIMO, while the bandwidth and antenna 2.4G/5G allow customers to tap into the best Wi-Fi configuration in the world.

The Huawei E5786 can offer Wi-Fi connectivity to up to 10 connected devices, being powered by a 3000 mAh battery, which is said to be capable of offering 10 hours of LTE usage and 500 hours of stand-by.

Huawei boasts it has implemented a unique technology for saving energy with the mobile Wi-Fi spot, which supposedly increases performance by 30% compared to products from the same class-range. It should also be noted, the E5768 can be charged by being connected to a smartphone.

The Huawei E5786 can be connected via microUSB 3.0, allowing users to swiftly transfer data and to be charged in just three hours.

The mobile Wi-Fi provider will arrive in select markets across Europe, Australia, the Middle East and Russia starting May 2014.
