Galaxy Fame is only one of the compact, fancy Android-based smartphones that South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung brought in its pockets at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this year, with the Galaxy Young being the other one.

Featuring the same looks as the Galaxy Fame, this device sports a smaller, 3.27-inch HVGA touchscreen display, though still packing a 1GHz processor inside, paired with 768MB of RAM.

This means that it can deliver appealing performance levels for an entry-level handset, with the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean platform loaded on it giving a helping hand as well.

The smartphone also comes with a 3-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as with a 1,300 mAh battery inside. Overall, just as Samsung claims, it should prove a great device for people who are just moving to smartphones.
