Set-top boxes might not be the sort of thing that people would expect to see at a Mobile World Congress (MWC 2013), but Huawei brought one to Barcelona anyway.

Maybe it has something to do with the very small size. The MediaQ M310 is a tiny thing, 14 mm thick. It stands to reason that it can be carried anywhere, making it mobile.

Powered by a quad-core HiSilicon K3V2 ARM Cortex A9 processor, it can take video calls, allow multi-screen interaction, stream even games if needed, etc.

In fact, the newcomer has Ducati Bike and Breaker’s Revenge II already installed.

A universal learning remote control is shipped with the Huawei MediaQ M310. It can control the STB, a TV and other digital devices.

Built-in storage is of 32 GB and there is a microSD card slot allowing for more. The price is of $80 / 61-80 Euro.
