Although it was launched at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January, the Huawei Ascend D2 smartphone made an appearance at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and we took a few moments to have a closer look at it.

Featuring a 5-inch full HD screen and a quad-core 1.5GHz processor inside, paired with 2GB of RAM, the new device can provide users with an appealing mobile experience.

The smartphone also sports 32GB of internal memory, a 13-megapixel photo snapper on the back with full HD video recording capabilities, front camera for making video calls, and a 3,000 mAh battery inside, with Huawei’s own battery saving technology attached.

Huawei Ascend D2 was made official with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, Dolby 5.1 audio, dust and water resistance, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with Huawei’s Emotion user interface loaded on top.
