The handset will arrive on the market at only €15 ($20)

Today, Nokia announced four new devices, including two Lumia handsets (the Lumia 720 and Lumia 520) and its most affordable phone in the world, the Nokia 105.

The new handset is set to storm the market in Q2 at only €15 ($20), though still packing all the essential features and capabilities that users are looking for in such a device.

Nokia 105 was announced with a 1.45” 65k color TFT Display, an 8MB ROM, dual band EGSM 900/1800 connectivity, and a battery that can deliver up to 35 days of standby and up to 12.5 hours of talk time.

The phone measures 107 x 44.8 x 14.3 mm, weighs 70 grams with the battery included, sports FM radio capabilities, pre-loaded games, flashlight, and a dust-proof and splash-proof design.

As Nokia puts it, this phone was designed to provide users with the essentials, including phone calls and SMS capabilities, and with some desirable extras.
