One of the many handsets that mobile phone maker Alcatel has brought to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona was the Android-based One Touch Idol, which can be seen in the photos below, snapped by Softpedia’s editors during the trade show.

The handset packs a 4.7-inch IPS display, while packing a 1GHz dual-core processor inside, paired with 1GB of RAM (a 512MB version is also available) and 2.4GB user memory.

On the back, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper, complemented by a 2MP camera on the front to enable video calling while on the go. The handset is powered by a 1800 mAh battery.

According to Alcatel, the device will arrive on shelves in both single- and dual-SIM flavors. The later sports a microSD memory card slot, while the latter 13.3GB of user accessible memory inside. Both iterations run under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
