At only 6.45mm thick (thinner than Galaxy S III), the One Touch Idol Ultra is one of the most appealing smartphones that Alcatel has brought to the MWC 2013 trade fair in Barcelona, and we took a moment to have a closer look at it.

The smartphone features a 4.7-inch AMOLED screen capable of delivering an HD resolution, while packing a 1.2GHz dual-core processor inside, complemented by 1GB of RAM.

16GB of memory should provide users with enough storage room for photos, videos and other files, and there’s also an 1,800 mAh battery inside the phone for increased usage time.

Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the back, with LED flash and HD video recording.

Furthermore, the handset sports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, along with GPS receiver, NFC capabilities, and Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
