Huawei did not bring to this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona only high-end smartphones, but also chose to showcase some more affordable devices.

Thus, the company had the Android-based Huawei Honor on the floor at the event, and we got the chance to have a better look at it.

The handset was launched with a 4.0-inch touchscreen display on the front, and with a 1.4GHz application processor inside. The new smartphone is powered by 1900 mAh battery.

It also comes with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as with WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity capabilities.

Powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread, the handset also brings along support for various applications and services designed for the OS. It is slated for an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in April.
