We wrote at length about the ASUS Padfone not long ago and, as promised, here is our hands-on experience with it.

The Padfone seems to be ASUS' unusual product right now, with the Transformer Pads playing the more “generic” role.

Of course, one of them has a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, so that may not be a totally accurate statement.

That said, the phone, on its own, definitely looks like a high-end piece of equipment.

Truthfully, specs ASUS has provided don't actually leave room for much else.

We especially like the stylus, even though it isn't wireless, so you'll have to stay close to your tablet-phone-laptop if you want to take calls from that mode.

Once you've feasted your eyes enough, go here to learn what processing, graphics, display and connectivity specs this mobile gadget has to offer.

Note: Fellow editors Cosmin Vasile and Sorin Nita are on the floor at the 2012 MWC trade show and are keeping us posted with pictures and live reports on the latest product previews and launches.
