Besides the new high-end phones that Samsung currently showcases at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona (11 - 14 February), the South Korean producer also presents a part of its 2008 mid to low-end range of handsets.

The best looking among them is Samsung L770, a stylish slider that measures 102 x 48 x 14.2 millimeters, weighs 93 grams and sports a 2.1 inch QVGA display. The handset comes with HSDPA connectivity, mobile blogging, Media player, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM radio, Internet browser, RSS reader, USB, document viewer, 2 Megapixel camera and microSD card support.

Samsung I200 is another mid-end handset that offers HSDPA connectivity. I200 runs on Windows Mobile 6 Standard and features a 2.3 inch QVGA display, EDGE, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, Music player, organizer, Pocket IE browser, microSD (TransFlash) card support and a 2 Megapixel camera.

Furthermore, we have Samsung J700, also coming in a slider form, as L770, but with fewer features. The J700 model packs a 2 inch, 128 x 160 pixel screen, EDGE connectivity, Media player, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB, FM radio and a modest 1.3 Megapixel camera and, of course, microSD card support.

Another J-series handset is Samsung J150, a low-end tri-band GSM phone that comes in a candybar form factor and measures 111 x 45 x 9.9 millimeters. It brings EDGE connectivity, a 1.9 inch 65k color display, 1.3 Megapixel camera, FM radio, Music player and microSD card support.

Samsung E251 is the last new entry-level phone from the South Korean manufacturer and brings dedicated music player control, a 2 inch screen, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB, EDGE connectivity, changeable User Interface and a modest (I'd say useless) VGA camera. E251, together with the J700 and J150 models, are clearly created for users who don't want to spend too much money on a cell phone and are happy with basic mobile features.

All in all, with the G810, P960, F480 and F400 high-end models and the above mentioned handsets (plus the Soul phone announced before MWC 2008), Samsung brought a pretty solid line-up for 2008. And I'm sure it'll have more to offer during the year.
