Microsoft has made the Multilingual User Interface Packs for Windows Media Player 11 available to all the users of authentic copies of Windows XP. This because the download of the MUI
packs for WMV 11 is conditioned by the validation of the operating system copy you are running.

"The Multilingual User Interface (MUI) Packs for Windows Media Player 11 enable customers using the Windows XP Multilingual User Interface versions of the operating system to switch the user interface (menus, dialog boxes, and Help) for Windows Media Player 11 from one language to another," explained Microsoft.

Via the MUI packages, users can have access to an array of additional languages for Windows Media Player 11. Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Swedish are available for WMP running on 32-bit editions of Windows XP. Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Korean, Spanish and Swedish are also available for the 64-bit editions of the operating system.

"Windows Media Player 11 MUI Packs are available for download for 25 non-English language versions of Windows XP. Individual language versions of the User Interface Packs are available for download, and you can choose the specific target language version of the language that you want to enable," added Microsoft, revealing that in corporate environments, the MUI packs will inherently drive the decreasing of desktop management costs in multilingual computing environments.
