Despite the fact that the two distinct objects come from opposite directions and each of them is the expression of a thing that has pretty much nothing to do with the other, the final mix looks great.

On the one hand, the coffee mug stands for the calm coziness of your kitchen on a Sunday morning when no disturbing element can interact with you and wreck the perfect atmosphere; and on the other hand, there’s the bras knuckle, an iconic object expressing the brute force and standing as a true artifact of violence, a veritable weapon, for defense and attack alike.

Yet, the two have been mixed together into a very nifty new object, each giving part of its symbolic power to the other: the knuckle has lost from its menacing looks and now underlines the ergonomic problem it solves, with its perfect grip and evenly-distributed weight, while the coffee jug gains strength to assess the very personal act of enjoying a cup of freshly-brewed drink without disturbance from the exterior.

The MUG! is made of fine white porcelain which is also microwave-friendly and looks good among the other things in your kitchen and even on your desk. While the price is quite cool as it is, around $19, the MUG! can make a very nice and appreciated gift for the forthcoming holidays.
