Mark Wahlberg was honored with the Generation Award at last night’s MTV Movie Awards 2014, held live from Los Angeles, at the Nokia Theater. Below is his profanity-laden acceptance speech – the clean version, of course.

The golden popcorn trophy was presented to him by the “Entourage” guys, who are now working on a movie he’s producing (Mark also produced the hit TV series). Naturally, he didn’t forget to plug the upcoming film at the end of his speech.

As is customary with this type of “achievement” awards, Mark thanked all those who stood by him throughout his career, his fans included, and revisited the stages of his career in the spotlight, which also included a short while as a rapper and being a successful underwear model.

However, that wasn’t before he explained to the people in the audience and at home the “real meaning” of the Generation Award.

“I know what this really means… this is the ‘you’re-too-[expletive]ing-old-to-come-back’ award. This is not the Channing-Tatum-you’re-dancing-around-chicks-want-you award. This is the you’re-[expletive]ing-done award. But look, it was a great run,” he laughed, saying that all previous winners (Jim Carrey and Jennifer Aniston among them) were never asked to come back in following years.

Mark also gave a shoutout to Michael Bay and his fourth “Transformers” movie, in which, as you probably know, Wahlberg is lead. He actually called it “the biggest movie of the year next year, I can guarantee you that.”
