The awards season is officially over now that the Oscars are over, but not for the fans. The critics have had their say so now’s the time for fans to have theirs as well. Enter the MTV Movie Awards 2013.

MTV has released the full list of nominees, with voting already possible, through Saturday, April 13.

The awards show, which offers a good indication into the favorites of the public, will take place the next day, April 14, at the Sony Pictures Studios lot, and will be hosted by Rebel Wilson.

Because this is an MTV awards gala we’re talking about, the list of nominees is a combination of critical hits and releases that were commercially successful.

In the Movie of the Year category for instance, which is the most coveted award of the night, we find the biggest release of 2012, “The Avengers,” going head to head with the smaller budget drama “Silver Linings Playbook” and Tarantino’s much hyped “Django Unchained.”

“The Dark Knight Rises,” the final installment in Chris Nolan’s Batman trilogy and the comedy “Ted,” which proved a surprise hit, are also in the running.

To say that competition will be fierce is an understatement.

Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lawrence, Anne Hathaway, Rebel Wilson and Emma Watson are all up for Best Female Performance, while, in the Male category, we find Jamie Foxx, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, Daniel-Day Lewis and Ben Affleck.

Unlike in 2012, “Twilight” is absent, almost painfully so for fans. The vampire saga ended with “Breaking Dawn Part 2” but it only landed one nomination and that too, ironically, for Best Shirtless Performance by Taylor Lautner.

Check out the complete list of nominees below to see if your favorite made the cut and stands any chance of winning.
