14 DAY TRIAL // Precisely one month from now, J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek Into Darkness” will be out in theaters. With this in mind, it’s easy to understand why last night’s MTV Movie Awards 2013 also included a brand new teaser trailer for it.
Check it out above. Though the quality is not ideal (far from it actually), it still offers a pretty good indication of the direction the final trailer will take. It should drop soon.
“Star Trek Into Darkness” reunites the cast of 2009’s “Star Trek” and adds Benedict Cumberbatch as the villain.
It will be out in IMAX theaters on May 15 and two days later on regular screens.
Useless to say, hype around the project is almost unprecedented but the first reviews are already saying it will be a movie both Trekkies and non-Trekkies will love in equal measure.
