14 DAY TRIAL // Selena Gomez performed her brand new single last night at the MTV Movie Awards 2013, “Come & Get It.” Video of her number is below, embedded at the end of this blog post.
Though, without a doubt, Selena has never looked more ravishing and sensual, and her choreography was nearly flawless, I think that, vocally, this wasn’t even close to her best live performance.
If I were to go a bit more into details, I’d actually say it was one of her worst, as you can hear in the video, particularly on those bits were she sang without the backing track (that is to say, anywhere else but on the chorus).
Whether she was not her best because of the nerves or the demanding dance routine, I can’t say. What I can – and will – say is that it was a shame that she didn’t nail it down to perfection.
